I recently bought a new house and had to replace the bathtub faucet. The faucet is a three handle faucet, cold, hot and diverter for the shower. Since replacing it I have noticed that the hot water does not last as long. One thing I have noticed is that a large amount of water is coming through the actual faucet after turning the divider to shower. All of the water coming through is nothing but hot water. I need to see if anyone out there can help me out with this problem as I am becoming very tired of taking a 2 minute shower so the rest of the house can have hot water.

What is the brand name of the faucet, is it a Pressure Balanced Assembly, and what type of piping did you use to connect to this valve.

The only thing I replaced was the part that actual controls turning the water on and off. I used the original plumbing. This was not a whole assembly, it was just the valves to control the hot and cold water, the divider and the knobs.
