I have two 4 by 6 inch openings in my outer stucco walls that I need to fill.
(I had to remove two 4 by 6 beams coming out from the wall because of rot)
Anybody have any ideas what I can use to patch these 2 small holes with.
Not real wild about trying to use stucco. Are there any plastic or other synthetic materials a person can use and paint over.

Stucco patch is no harder than plastic or other types mix. Just mix following the instructions on the package. Mix a bit dryer but not much.
If these holes have a backing then no problem. If no backing a bit harder but not bad.
If you have say plywood behind this as backing then run a few screws into the plywood about a 1/4" behind the surface of existing stucco placed evenly throughout the hole being patched. These screws will act as stays to help hold the stucco patch. Fill the hole to about 1/4" from surface and let dry. Once dry then fill the patch to about 1/16" beyond the surface of the existing stucco then play artist to match the design of your original stucco to blend in and let dry then paint as desired.
If hole is without backing you can fill with paper or other fill product that would hold a piece of wood up against the inside of teh wall making only a hole to patch as deep as the original stucco then follow the above instructions.
Good Luck
