Donald,

I hope I am creating my question correctly. I could not find away to create a new thread 2within the forum.

I want to know about bends in horizontal drains. In order to align the 3" soil pipe with the toilet at one end and the descending point at the other end of the joist, I used two 45 degree elbows 7" apart. After, I wondered whether that would create too much of a restriction to the water flow. What are the rules reference turns in horizontal drains?

You can turn directions in piping as many times as you want.......venting is the crucial issue you have to follow, and the correct fittings that don't restrict flow.
