if anyone is considering buying a mitersaw stand - look into this one. you may consider it a bit pricey at $200 + H.D. gives you a $25 gift card w/purchase - but the quality and convenience are worth it in my opinion.
you get quick disconnect mounts so you can take the saw off in seconds, fold up legs at the push of a button, 5' slide out extensions on each end, and aluminum construction.
i ordered an extra set of saw mounts for a milwaukee abrasive saw i use for cutting light gauge steel tubing - the extensions really help hold the 20' lengths.
