Picture this:
Top of the steps - 3-way switch, with power feed in and 3 conductor out.
3 conductor goes to bottom of stairs to 2nd 3-way switch. 2 conductor out to lighting fixtures.
Question - need to add lighting fixture at top of stairs. Can this new fixture be controlled by same set of 3-way switches?
Note - I only have access to the box/wiring at the top of the steps. Can't put the new light in the same series as the lights at the bottom of the steps due to pre-existing drywall.
