Basement Bathroom

I am adding a bathroom in the basement and would like to know if you have to plumb the fixtures (toilet, sink, tub) with copper or if you can use pvc pipe instead. Or is copper code in the 2000 uniform plumbing code?

Are you sure that you're under the 2000 UPC? This might be true, but most of the country is under the '03 IRC, which has it's plumbing section extrapolated from the IPC and not the UPC.
