The motor runs great for about six seconds, (no load) then It seems like it starves itsself, but right away it kicks up again full thottle. The bottom of the bowl has an indentaion on it, which is the correct way that the bowl goes on. one section looks a little hight then the other side. Maybe I have it on wrong? maybe the float is sticking?

The float bowl does not have an indentation rather it has a dropped level of the bottom of the bowl. Look at the float. The lower level of the float bowl is supposed to be under the opposit end of the float hinge supporting the float. This is so the float may hang down when needing gas flowing into the float bowl. If you have the bowl reversed with the high end bottom under the low end of the float the float can not come down as it should because it hits the bottom of the float bowl being the high side of the bowl bottom.

The engine sounds like it is starving for gas. Most likely the high speed fuel adjustment screw needs to be backed out about a 1/4 to 1/2 turn allowing more fuel to the engine during high speed phase of running.

Idle the idle fuel adjustment screw leans or enriches the fuel mixture but only at idle.

The high speed fuel adjustment does the same at high speed.

If your carberator has no fuel adjustment then the carb needs to be soaked in acid and blown out thus cleaning the carb having plugged jets inside the carberator. Often times you need to remove plugs stamped into the surface of the carb then installing new plugs after cleaning.

Hope this helps

Thanks alot for the info, the carb has two adjusting screws. One for air, thats on he side, and one under the bowl, thats for fuel.
