I have a 6 horse Tecumseh with ohv on a generator. I purchased it and it was tilted in his truck. I brought it home and checked the oil and gas. Oil was not even on dip stick. put in oil and gas then cranked it smoked and then leaked out the old oil very dark. I took it apart and cleaned parts and spark plug. Removed the filter also. now the oil level is not even touching the stick and fresh oil is coming out when it runs.
Can someone help.

If this engine is tipped on its side then it will blow oil out the breather for a while. If this is the case keep an eye on the oil level checking often for a day or two and the oil blowing should stop.
If this engine was not layed on its side oil will blow out breather when valve are worn or rings are worn allowing rapid blow by during compression cycle of piston.
I would suspect the engine laying over first. If blow by continues after a few days of use then suspect the second options. Check compression to see if abnormally low.
Hope this helps
