Spark Plug Change

[Unregistered]

i have the same issue as "Unregistered" from his/her 6/21/04 post.

i have a 2001 Mazda Tribute ES V6. Back 3 spark plugs under the manifold.

Question 1: where can i find a firing order for my engine (i know cyl. 5 is misfiring)?
Question 2: i figure i could remove the manifold to access the plugs then replace the gasket. anything else i should be aware of in the process?

If your v6 is a 3.4 the #5 is on the right front. Once you take the upper intake of you will see the firing order on the lower intake in big numbers.
The job is time consuming but fairly easy.
