What is the minimum height of the service conductors allowed in ontario? I was upgrading my panel and service size from a 60 to 100 amp. The wire from the pole was fine---so I used plastic for my mast to connect to the existing feed. The wire was at least 10 feet above grade across the lawn--no driveway or pedestrian traffic. The inspector wanted a minimum of 15 feet. Is he correct in this?

The inspector wanted a minimum of 15 feet. Is he correct in this? You are dealing with 6-112(2) of the CEC. The OESC has a replacement for 6-112(2).
CEC 6-112(2)
(d) Across ground normally accessible to pedestrians only; 3.5m
OESC 6-112(2)
(a) 4.5m on properties accessible to pedestrians and passenger vehicles only; or
(b) 6m on properties accessible to commercial and farm vehicles.
If you're in Ontario, it's 4.5m (15') and in another province that hasn't amended this section of the CEC it's 3.5m (11.5')
So, your inspector is correct but he should have explained that this is an amended article.
