what are the restrictions on using a 600 volt 3- phase,4 wire system in a dwelling unit ???

What is the source of the 600V 3 phase -- the local utility, a generator, or your own transformer fed from something normal (208V 3 phase, 240V single phase)? What do you intend to connect to this voltage source?

In ontario I don't think will deliver 3 phase power to a single family home.

In British Columbia B.C. hydro will not supply 600 volts to residential customers. Also you must have qualified personel to service the installation according to the C.E.C.
