I would not put even a Dricore floor on a basement floor that water will from time to time be expected to run over on its way to a floor drain, even though the Dricore is suspended above the concrete surface and will hide the rivulets of water.

A floor drain grate, as opposed to a screw on cap, needs to be primed with water every now and then to keep its trap full.

If you do put a subfloor over the floor drain (whether or not replaced by a screw on cap) you should have a removable panel over it for access.
