Hey guys, I got sunks digging for grubs and cinch bugs, I know I will have to lime, but is there any home remedy, or good product on the market that will deter the little stinkers from comiming around, short or a well placed chunk of LEAD. My neighbour has a black cat, I thought if I painted a white stripe on her, it may not solve the problem, but would be funny to watch.
( If your not 50 or older, you wont get it )

I use Grubex, skunks don't seem to like chemical on the lawn
Plus it cuts down on the grub problem
I had one dig up a huge patch of my front lawn
Ever since I use Scott's fertilizer & grubex thru-out the year
Back yard needs to be redone - so I don't use stuff out there as much

If you have a plugged up nose skunks can be rather cute little buggers. If they like your place they may even consider having a litter of younguns in your crawl space then you won't ever be lonely. May be hard to get human frieds but ya never know those skunks might be loyal friends for you. They just stopped in to visit and have a bite to eat. You might throw them a piece or two of fried fish, might leave your poor defensless grubs alone then. Just a thought or two. Always trying to help ya know.
