Microwave+Cordless phones

every time i use the microwave, something interferes with the reception in my cordless land line and cellphone. I hear popping, crackling, and static from the phone. Is my microwave leaking harmful radiation?

Sounds like your microwave is on its way out. Modern cordless phones run at similar frequencies as cell phones.

oh no! it's not even that old! somewhere between 2 and 5 years (can't check, i'm out of town) but, thanks. is it something i should be worried about?
