I have (3) Hampton Bay (256-759) ceiling lights that each use a GU-10 halogen light bulb, and operate on 120V. I would like to use a dimmer switch with these to control the intensity. I installed a dimmer switch and the lights failed to come on at all. It was just a 3-wire install with 2 black wires and 1 ground wire. Do I have a bad switch, or won't this work?

This is a home wiring question that will get a better response in the home wiring existing forum subject. I am not sure what type bulb this modle number is whether a ballasted bulb or a resistance type bulb. Try posting this on that forum subject and see if they can help you better.
Sorry can't help you as you need
