Maytag Performa PYG2000AWW

Hello All,

I have a Maytag Performa MDL# PYG2000AWW. The problem I have is that the dryer does not turn on. I've checked the wiring according to the diagrahm provided and checked connenctivity but get nothing from the start dial. I was wondering if I may get a little help or suggestions.

Won't turn on as in dead with no noises?

If yes...
- house fuse/breaker ( test outlet with a radio or lamp )
- thermal fuse
- door switch
...are common trouble makers for making the dryer go dead.
