Anybody have any suggestions for this telephone problem...the dsc 832 system is 9 years old and works on a two partition system and is working without any problems. It has been connected to a regular single land line telephone connection with DSL and the proper DSL filters for about four years. There have been no changes in any hardware or software over the last four years. Two weeks ago the alarm system has started to drop the first incoming land line call on the first ring and gives out a "fax tone" on the second call and lets calls to the house go through normally on the third call .... then for about 10 minutes all calls to the house are received normally and the the process starts over...the first call is dropped and the second call gets a "fax tone" and the third call goes through normally...this has been consistent for two weeks. I have tried programing the dsc panel to shut off the answering system mode(used for remote uploading to the system) but it still does the same thing. Thanks for you help
