DSC1832 and T-Link 250

I am trying to program a DSC1832 and a T-Link250 in mode 4 . The problem I have is that I can not get the panel to recognize the T-link.
I have activated option 5 in position 382, but I can not access its memory locations thru option 851.
I have the small cable connected between both devices.
Where do I disable Exit Time Restart ?

I found the problem. In the 1832 the 4 pin connector is not keyed. So there are two ways of connecting the 4 pin cable. The proper way is to connect the red wire in pin#1.
I was confused because in the T-Link Manual page 7, it said something about pin1 should be connected to the black wire on the PC-Link cable.
