Hey everyone,
Any feedback on installing a combination light and exhaust fan directly in the confines of a basement shower stall?
Normally I wouldn't do this, however due to HVAC, plumbing and gas line obstructions in the joist cavities, this is the only aesthetically pleasing option I have.
I'm planning on using this unit (http://www.nutone.ca/product-detail.asp?ProductID=10904) from Nutone, and simply supplying the entire bathroom with a GFCI breaker.
The product specifications state "cUL and UL listed for use over tub/shower with GFCI circuit". How about the code? Can't seem to find anything in P.S. Knight's book.
I'm in Ontario if it matters.
Thanks in advance!
Best regards...
Jarett
