I have an existing single handle gerber tub faucet that was leaking (from the handle). Contacted Gerber and they recommended replacing the cartridge. Got both the back and front (valve assembly) pieces and replaced them. It doesn't leak anymore, but now I can not get the water to shut off fully. Have replaced the front valve twice with no success. What am I doing wrong?

I had same problem with Gerber single handle shower faucet leaking from the handle.
I pulled out the cartridge (92-258) and reinstalled.
I had to make a tool to remove and tighten the sleeve holding in the cartridge. It fits in the two holes on the sleeve.
At first the faucet was really leaking a lot. I had to keep tightening the sleeve until the water stopped dripping. I had to really torque on the sleeve to get the water to stop dripping.
In the end water was still dripping from the handle but not from the faucet.
Do you have a tool to remove and tighten the sleeve holding in the cartridge?
