been moose hunting for 18yrs. somethings have become commonplace in camp.
We never carry much rope anymore. it's heavy, and if you can't tie the knot right, it's a hassle. Plus, we put up so many tarps for camp, we'd need a 500ft spool. One day after baling, I had a half a role of poly binder twine left on one side, while I need a new one on the other. So I replaced both, and have a partial spool left over. I put it in a pail with a spouted lid like for oil. pull the twine through the spout, and twist the cap back on to hold the end. it's tough stuff, and if a stronger rope is needed, just use more loops. During cleanup, just cut off the trees and burn in the pot. No waste. no trash. and it comes in 6000ft bales.
