HI,
I'm starting out with a small system 3 wireless zones have no door contacts or anything else. I would like to program all zones with a entry and exit delay for wireless. I think I did that but it wont let me arm because it thinks I have a zone open. Should be easy program for some of you guys can you give me the sections and what to push. I'm able to navagate around with the section numbers and I have the manuals. I changed my installer code and maintenance code. Set some access codes too thats about as far as I got.

To be successful.........you must use the programming worksheets as this is your road to success.

To get started.......you must enroll the keypad and the 5132-433 wireless receiver that is either built-in to a keypad or a stand-alone module. Use code 902 to do the enrollment. Use code number 903 to check enrollment confirmation.

The unit comes with the first 8 zones turned on and you must program all 8 zones to be active or inactive thru the definitions. All zones not being used MUST have it's definition set to 00 to be inactive. The other 3 zones you are using can be set to instant or delay.

To get wireless working...be sure that the attributes are set properly and have option #8 turned on for wireless.

Each wireless transmitter has a 6-digit ESN (electronic serial number that must be programmed into section 802 of the 5132-433 receiver. You must use the hexdecimal programming to get all 6 numbers and letters entered correctly.

I strongly suggest you install at least one door contact on a door that you will use to exit. The alarm when set for delay looks for an opening and closing action to activate the delay portion of the system. No opening and closing will cause the alarm to go off instantly upon returned and activating a zone prior to the correct code being entered for disarm.

You can set zone #1 for hardwired zone contact and/or wireless door contact.

The other 3 sensors can be set to zones 2 thru 4. (zones 5 thru 8 must be turned off)

If the system is not monitored..........turn off the TLM (I think the section is 015).

Also be sure to set the date and time using the master code. User codes are set up also using the master code.

This is just a summary of what you need to do.....be sure to complete the programming worksheet and read the manual carefully.
