My Septic Tank Lid Fell Into The Tank, Tank Was To Have Been Closed Prior To Me Purchasing My Home; However Now That The Lid Fell In One Can See Into The Tank And It Was Never Filled; Should I Get The Lid Replaced Or Should I Have It Filled Up With Dirt, Or Do I Have To Have A Septic Tank Spec Take Care Of The Problem? We Have Sewer System, Never Used The Tank, Upon Naked Eye Inspection It Looks Clean, No Odor.

Stop using caps on every word. It makes it hard to read.

If the tank is empty and has been abandoned then fill it. If it is full of sewage then call a septic pumping company and have it pumped out then fill it. once it is full you won't need the lid. leave it in the tank. Note the septic tanks usually have two parts. There should be s second lid and tank that should be filled as well.
For now to keep anyone from falling into the open hole put a temporary fence around it.

If it was supposed to filled by the previous owners they should be responsible for the charges.
