Effluent Pump Rebuild?

Hi all
First, thanks for any help!

I pulled our Goulds 1/2hp effluent pump and tested it yesterday. Motor hums but doesn't turn. Impeller is not jammed. Here's the question: Is it worth the effort to rebuild it? It seems a shame to toss it in the landfill. Thoughts?

If the impellar and the motor turn freely then the start switch in the motor is probably stuck.
