Lid switch continuity, checked out good. The timer runs through every cycle & goes off like it should, but not sure about pause before spin cycle. I'm guessing clutch is not working. will trouble shoot tommorrow.

Been busy, finally getting back to my washing machine project.
I took apart, clutch assy, & brake assy. Dirty with brake dust. I cleaned them up. The brake shoes look good, not much wear. The clutch, white plastic is above ribbets, worn to one side, not middle of clutch linning. I cleaned them up & turned the clutch band 180 deg.to other side to wear of band. The drive fingers are not broken, but the under side of fingers has tiny 1/4" plastic dowel pin that mates to metal peice. One looks to be broken off but the whole plastic finger mates to metal peice anyways. any other suggestions, or help welcome.

clutch - Made mistake, looks to only fit in oneway. turn back 180 deg. as it was.

None of that -sounds- overly good.
Did you check the simple things first?....tub drive block, lint filter ( if used ) broken?

I guess cleaning the brake drum, shoes, & clutch fixed the spin cycle to work.
I want to thank your forum for the help, being a new member, (JUNIOR MEMBER), I learned alot about washing machines. It was a frustrating project because every thing checked out o.k.. I just want to get another year out of this old machine.
