I would like to be able to occasionally dump the holding tank from my RV into my septic tank. Is there a way to access the septic tank and would this cause a problem?

The septic tank should have two lids, one over each tank. They are used to pump out the tank whenthe solids get too much. You might have to dig to find them. Also leading from your house there is a pipe. If you can find the pipe then you could cut in a clean out and use that to empty your RV.
Depending on the vloume of your RV tank I don't it causing a problem.
I don't know of any of this is legal however.

If you check your main soil pipe in the house, and where it comes out, that would be the easiest place to access the pipe for the RV. You would cut a section out of the pipe and put in a "y" (wye), and run the arm to the surface with a cleanout.
I chose not to use the RV disinfectant when the load is destined to be dumped into my septic system. I'm actually going to be putting the same system in for a friend here shortly. Their problem is the main soil stack is 30' away from where the RV is going to be placed when dumping. I'll be placing a 4" PVC schedule 40 pipe above the ground and sloped properly. That will make cleaning the pipe much easier (with just a garden hose if needed). The problem with using the RV corrugated pipe is it sags and rolls, and needs to be lifted when emptying, and makes a crappy mess.
Again, I chose not to use the disinfectant when dumping into my septic.
Remember the 3 rules for being a plumber--Righty tighty, shi- runs down hill, and payday is on Friday. Number 1 and 2 being most important for you, especially if you don't want 1 and 2 all over you.

Thanks to both of you for your suggestions. I'll keep those plumber rules in mind:proud:
