This washer -- model WPSR3100W1WW -- has two agitation speeds, Normal and Gentle. It works great on the Normal setting but has stopped agitating on the Gentle speed. It seems to be trying to agitate but can't. While it tries it make sort of a clicking noise and all the lights in the house dim. Everything else work fine. It fills, spins, etc. Just won't agitate on Gentle setting. Could it be the motor? They seem very expensive. Is it worth fixing?

Motor, burnt/loose wire to the motor, timer contact. Of the 3, motor would be the prime suspect.
Could it be the motor?
Yes.
They seem very expensive. Is it worth fixing?
GE = Generally Expensive ;)
