The new look doesn't format properly if you use test size 'larger' in IE7, at least not on the http://www.selfhelpandmore.com/ page.

The logo on this page is a image map. It's just 1 big picture with NO text on it... unless you resize the image nothing will change if you mess with your text size.

On the page you mentioned, all the links are text links ontop of grey boxes and therefore will be resized when you mess with the text size. The layout is not designed to allow for the images to resize when the text size changes. It would take some work to get the image to expand with the text.

Just 2 ways of doing things..

Joed you should adjust the manual zoom on your monitor instead (aka move the monitor closer to your eyes)

Well on the forums page at work today the text in the links at the top is not resizing. On the http://www.selfhelpandmore.com/ main page the links text resize. However on IE6 here at work the FORUMS banner below the text moves down and the text seems fine even at the larger size. At home last night the text was overlaying the stuff below it.
Also the remaining text on that page does not resize, so there must be some font property to keep the text from resizing that can be applied to the links.

What resolution is your computer display set at? Are you using a pc or mac? I have tried this on several computers at home and at work and haven't experienced what you are.

Both units are PCs running XP.
1024x768 here at work. I can't remember what I have at home. I think it is 1280x1024.

I am running 1280 x 800 on a laptop, most computers I have used are set at anywhere from 1024 and up. But on the laptop I set it down to 800 just for a moment and outside of everything on the page being big, I never experienced what you described.

But I am running IE7 on most computers.

Is there any other people that can provide feedback or have similiar display issues as joed please post.

On most browers there is a place where you can restore deafult setting, perhaps in internet options, not sure if it is the same place on ie6. You could try that. You can also try netscape or firefox at

http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/?utm_id=Q108&utm_source=google&utm_medium=ppc&gclid=CIma_eia25MCFSoZagod3CqOYw

which is also a very good internet browser.

I just haven't seen this effect on any of several computers at home or work that did this.

Hmm, weird. I didn't know what to think when I read Fordrules' thread. I normally use Firefox to access the forums and I only seen minor changes. (as seen below)

Then I tried Internet Explorer. (IE7) Then I can see the new Banner, menus, etc. (also see below)

By the way Don,
Wonderful job! It Looks nice and updated!:congrats:

You know you just gave everyone your email address, look at your attachments.

For starts, Delete all history and temp files, the top of the forums should be the same as you see at the top of the main site.

Editted image.
It is a junk email I use for forum registrations anyway.

Cleared history ETC. and now the banner appears on the forum page with the fonts proper size.
No change to the selfhelp page.

I hope Home Depot doesnt sue us (well Don, not "us") for it.... The way things are going, they wouldn't get much!
I'm at that point, that even you tried to take anything from me, I'm willing to push the way past the limits of normal. :marchmellow::boxing:
