outdoor outlet? help

hello, this is my first attempt at using this forum, I am planning to electrify an outdoor recreation area about 150feet from a circuit box on it's own circuit and I've never attempted such an installation before, I would appreciate any advice whatsoever, thanks. I don't know if it would be better to run wire underground or overhead, what size wire to use, whether or not to use conduit,or what code calls for. This cicuit would run approximately 25 amp load max. Load will consist of lights, radio,an occasional small appliances

Some additional information that will help answer your question: what are the loads you're running -- one thing that draws 25A, multiple 120V things, a mix of 120/240V, or just 240V? Are they motor based equipment or just lights? And is this residential or commercial?
