PT Deck is built, all 4x4 & 4x6 supports have steel Simpson strongtie connectors that hold the 4x to the concrete. This keeps the posts from rotting out/no contact with cement.

I'm going to pour concrete for the landing at the bottom of the deck stairs. There are 3 stair stringers:
#1 is firmly bolted to the garage wall
#2 is firmly bolted to 4x4 support
#3 - middle - only support will be the pad

I'm already using the stairs, but I know the middle will sag over time. The wife/MIL walk out the front of the house & around, so I've been told I need to finish the stairs

I'm going to slope the pad to allow water to run off
Slope of maybe 1" away from stairs?

Is there a metal support to go under the PT stringer for contact with the concrete? I've looked, can't find anything
Should I put a pice of PT under the stringer for contact w/cement pad? That way I could replace that part & not the stringer
Or am I worrying too much. I know the PT should last over 10-15 years. But I don't want to have to replace the stringers in 15-20 years

I'm also planning on making this bottom support the last step. So it will extend under the strair string - 2" behind stringer
It will then extend out the same size as the stairs - approx 12". Rise will approx match the stairs = 8" or so - need to measure
Ground is not fully lanscaped around deck at this point

Use the same Simpson post support that you did for the 4x4 posts, just add PT lumber to the stringer to build out the other two inches.
Dig a little deeper (small footer) and pour it all at once with your concrete pad.
