new tv making microwave beep

I just picked up a new 52" tv. I set it up last night and everything worked fine. I watched a movie then went to bed. This morning I turned it on to check the weather and noticed as I was changing channels I could hear a beeping coming from the kitchen. After some looking around I noticed it came from the microwave! Its only when I push certain buttons on the remote. If the TV is off it doesnt do anything. After messing around with it I came out and saw a few numbers entered on the screen but this has happened only once. The microwave and the tv both work normally. I plugged the TV into a different outlet in a different room and it still does it. Ive unhoked the cable and DVD player and it still does it. This is a big TV. I love it and dont wanna have to drag it back to exchange. Any ideas?

Well I took the TV back and exchanged it. The new one worked fine till i shut it off.. when i turned it on it started doing the same thing! I unplugged it and if its unplugged for about a hour it stops doing it till it's turned off then back on.

Im wondering if its sometype of interference that is getting put into the house's electricity due to the remote...

Gee, Tough crowd..... For all of those who didnt replay... april fools! But it would be a pretty cool intereference problem if it was real....
