pool side decking

I am a new home owner and would like to build a pool side decking area surounding the area between the pool deck and brick fence. I would like the decking to be of equal height (about 4") as the pool decking. Is the project to diffiecult for a beginner?

Hi,

A little more information would help. How large an area is it? What would you like the deck surface to be-wood, composite wood, stone, pavers? Is the level of the adjacent yard 4" below the pool deck? What kind of soil-grass is the yard made up of?

A diagram would help, and a picture would be of greater help.
