Fishing has been pretty good this week.
Monday 1 - 6lb walleye
Tuesday 1 -5lb & 1- 8lb walleye
Wed 1- 6.5lb walleye
Sat 1 6lb &1-8lb walleye

Sounds like you found them. Those are impressive sized walleyes. Where you fish in lake erie are you in a cove or out in the open where you have to use a larger boat.
I have always avoided erie or michigan etc. due to my having a low profile bass boat. I have thought it may be safe to fish in the coves staying out of the main lakes. I also have to use the sticker behind the ear or chumb out hte back of the boat on those larger lakes when I go with a charter trip.
Is this what happens or is all boats on Erie the deeper water type boats?

Where I walleye fish is about 8-10 miles out in the lake. The water is 80 feet deep. I only go out on nice days. It's no fun fishing when your bouncing around. I often fish near shore less than 1/2 mile out for perch or bass
