I have purchased and moved into a home...after living here a month I am now experiencing a problem with the home security system where it beeps almost every 60 seconds...it is extremely annoying yet i have no codes to reset it ... I cannot find a central power box or breaker to disarm it rather it seems to be wired directly into the home power supply somehow...every door and window has sensors powered with lithium batteries...I am calling a home security expert out for service but they cannot come for days!! Any help would be appreciated!!!!

I searched for but couldn't find a manual for the Commander 3000. But I did find one for the Commander 2000 which is similar. You probably have the Trouble light lit, and you need to see what is causing the trouble. Press "Status" and see if it will tell you what it is unhappy about.
If you've removed the phone line from it, and it was setup to expect one, that will do it. Likewise, a bad battery in a sensor will do it, and will its own internal battery if power has been lost recently or your removed power from it and it is still discharged.

Not familar with the ITT Commander 3000 alarm.
If you want it silenced.......it is powered by 110 into a 16 volt tranformer and the wires from the transformer are connected to the alarm panel. ......there is a backup battery that takes over for short power outages.
Unplug the transformer or carefully unconnect the wires marked AC that attach to the panel. Add wire nuts to each single wire and then tape........AC power is gone.
Now unplug both leads going into the battery....unit should now be powerless

Look on the bright side, if you can figure out how to use it, you get a free security system! If it's just beeping you might need a siren or noise maker too, would the beep be enough to drive thief away? After all, if it's going off, don't you need it to be so annoying that nobody can stay in the house? :evil2:
