Hi all,

I would like to install a downdraft venting system in my kitchen island
for my stove top. With all necessary 6" and 3"x10" vent connections I will have an inequivalent to 105'. The max for my downdraft unit is 150'.
The unit says to use pvc for under slab. What type of 6" pvc pipe should I use that will allow me to connect to the metal vent pipe once I rise out of the concrete?

Thanks for any help
Mee

I think there is a type of 6" PVC for HVAC applications in slab floors. I've never seen it, but you may want to ask a heating/airconditioning contractor if they can get you some.
