Can't upload pictures?

I can't upload my pictures? Says the file size is to big. How do I upload them? File size is over 400 each one. And I beieive only like 97 is allowed. They are Jpgs. but I think I can make them BMPs. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Sincerely TDoggy187:pcguru:

Do not make them BMP's, they are larger. You need to make them smaller with a photo editing program. Adjust the size and compression/quality level.

One way I use occasionally is upload a photo to an upload site such as http://www.imageshack.us and then link it to my post. On one of the pages at image shack there are link boxes with different types of links for different applications, message boards, thumbnails, etc. One of the link boxes contains a direct link to the image. I copy and paste that into my post like this:

link_goes_here

Then you can put as big of photos as you want on here....

You don't need to use imageshack. There are others such as Photobucket, Webshots, etc. The reason I don't like those is because I don't want or need an online photo album...

Thanks guys for all the help. I used Picasa and just made the pictures smaller. It was easy and now they are on here... So please view them and give me some advice!!! I need it!!! Thanks everybody....:tee:
