My permit states that that my leach lines need to be at least 10ft apart. My question is when they enter the distibution box they will be only seperated by the width of the box, maybe 2ft or so. Is that OK? Or do I need to come out of the box with some non-perforated pipe first then switch to perforated?
Thanks..

You need to talk to whichever town department issued the permit. The 10 foot separation is probably after a certain distance from the tank. Most likely you could run a single line and then split into two or three lines 10 feet apart.

You run the perforated leach lines parallel to each other, almost the full length of the leaching field, and ten feet apart in your case. Then you tie them to the distribution box. What you need to check with the town is, whether a "header pipe" to which all the leach pipes are tied to may also be perforated. You also need to make sure that the field itself (that was dug up and filled with nice porous sand) is wide enough so the leftmost and rightmost leach pipes are not too close to the existing undisturbed dirt according to the code.
