Ok, a little disclaimer. Dont bust me out. But here is my exhisting bathroom remodel still a few finishing touches, but I promised pics. I am always reluctant to post picks for fear that i have done something to embarass myself as usual. LOL that is why this isnt on the brag forum.
I know one thing that can be accomplished in this room :toilet: that's most important anyway right?
:star: thank you thank you. I am here all week.
Picture one. Couldn't find one from the very beginning, but there was immitation ceramic tile (plastic) on the walls from the floor to about 50" up.
1859
Picture two. More of the beginning of the project. I had to move the corner of the wall back a bit to accomodate for the new vanity that was 48". this old one was custom and 41".
1860
Picture of the kitchen built-in that i had to chop down about 6 inches. that was a project. still not done. I sheetrocked mudded taped and textured and painted, but still working on the cabinet doors and how i get to learn cabinetry.
1862
Picture three. More of the beginning of the project when I was still tearing off old sheetrock and trying to figure how to make the bump out smaller. As you can see, to the left, i added an additional built in shelf for more towels. someone gave me an idea of how to mud over wood. at the bottom of built-in #1, which is the closest, the wood face went to the floor and was flush with the sheetrock. I drilled holes in the wood and roughed it up a bit and mudded away. So far so good, can't tell any different. I will have to find that post and take a specific pic and show the results.
1861
Picture four. I extended the drop down recessed light thing all the way to the end of the wall. Creating a nice uniform look and allowing for a third light above the pooper. Keeps the seat warm too.
1863
Picture five. I finally figured out how to shorten that wall so my new vanity fit, and began throwing some different wiring configurations in to see what worked best. Thanks to those on here to helped me out.
1864
Picture six. Quick shot at where the old vanity was. nothing was a box back then, just built right to the wall. the ol' lady loved pink. she painted everything pink i swear. my 5 year old daughter cries everytime i take another pink thing away.
1865
Picture seven. Typical...not much else to say. I figured i might find something like this.
1866
Picture eight. Now to figure out how to get that collar off!!! closet flange, whatever they call those things. Thanks again to the help. the best idea was to drill multiple holes in the lead and give it a tap. soo easy after that. but the process of figuring it out took hours.
1867
Picture nine. Looking much prettier now.
1868
Well, that is half of it. can't download any more pics.
