Hi, has anyone got any suggestions to my problem, i have been through 5 new microwaves in 14 months, varying from 9 months of life to instantly breaking!. all of them the microwave heating part? breaks, in one of my many combi ovens everything else works just not the microwave. today i decided to go for a straightforward microwave took it home plugged in all the electrics work just no heat. what is going on?? im beginning to believe my house just doesnt want a microwave in it!! all other electric appliances have been ok, a repair man said he didnt believe it could be my house electrics and that im just extremely unlucky, thanks for that. could it be the cold?? my kitchen is freezing, any ideas anyone???:fight: me & microwaves

Hi,
today i decided to go for a straightforward microwave took it home plugged in all the electrics work just no heat
Make, model#?
What happens instead?
Runs ok, makes sounds? Display only works?
How long did you try to heat up something, what was it?
all other electric appliances have been ok, a repair man said he didnt believe it could be my house electrics
Too many things on a line, poor ground may effect the microwaves output.
could it be the cold?? my kitchen is freezing
*I* have never heard of a cold room effecting a microwave, but stranger things have happened!

hi jeff, thanks for your reply,
i have just tried the microwave in a different room and the repetitive clicking noise i heard from the moment i first switched it on is in time with a nice little spark i can see in the back of the internal workings!! so maybe i am just unlucky and ill try yet another new oven tomorrow, mjz
