Tire changers?

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with these tools

are they worth the investment? I am going to be getting quite a few puctures in my trucks tires(nails and other nasty's) , in fact I have one tonight and I don't want to keep having to spending $10 at a repair shop to get them repaired. would rather do it myself,

also my tires are 15 inch rims would the above tool be able to take that tire off?

Newguy, this tire changer is meant for lawn tractor tires and the like. It will not handle automotive tires....RL
