I have a Skil drywall gun that needs a new switch does anyone know where I can find a wireing diagram for the switch? It is a model 6906 and is about 15 years old

When you buy a new switch you should be able to just transfer the wires over one at a time? Or am I missing something?

son took gun apart. did not write down where wires came from. I know where the red and blue wires go but not sure on the black and white.

Are the black and white wires from the cord? I don't think that there is anywhere that I know of to give this info on an older tool. Is there only four wires that connect to the switch? Are any of the connections on the switch marked "line" or "Load"?

Yes the black and white wires are from the suply cord. The red and blue are from the reversing switch. there are more areas to place the wires than wires to place in them. I do know the same switch fits other tools so I understand why. They are marked t1 W2 and so on so I need a shop drawing to make sure I put them in the correct place.

One more question I have for you is this: Is this switch just an on-off switch or is it a variable speed switch as well?

How many terminals does it have total?

Can you tell me what the markings are by each?

perhaps then I can give you accurate advice.
