Due to my increasing Christmas display & overall electric work, I've been looking at clamp on meters
I have a very good multi-meter, but a clamp on would be much easier

HD has them starting at $11
I know cheap usually means cheap
But what should I be looking for in this meter?

I have a 200a feed, don't think I will be upgrading at any point since I just paid to have it buried

Thanks

I have two different flukes, but I like and use the fluke 322 clamp meter for residential work the most--no true RMS for this series, and not the best of the crowd. Yet it's enough for what I do. To be safe, go with a company with a known reputation for safety and integrity.

Fluke meters are good quality, but expensive. I think Ideal meters are just as good but at a better price. Plenty good for the DIY'er, even for the pro!

Just my opinion.
