Don't know if anyone knows anything about personal watercrafts but I thought taht I would ask. I just purchased 2- 1996 waverunner XP 800's off of ebay. The guy I bought them from was So nice & listed them in great shape, no problems, new batteries, just tuned up ect...
I took them on my family vacation with me & that was my 1st chance to try them out. Had problems with them! Bought the corrrect PWC oil which go's in seperate from gas, & bought correct gas.
Had trouble starting them & then would only go 30 mph. was stuck like that for about 5 minutes or so & then kicked in to fulll 60 mph. I had similar problems over next couple of days, troubl starting & and would only go so fast intermittenly & then kick in. My brother changed the plugs twice said going foul quick. Sounds like carb trouble! Am hoping problem is easily fixed & reasonably inexpensive to repair cuz paid top dollar for. Am a female & don't even know where to begin. Help!!!
