I live in FL, with a concrete block stucco house (b 1994). I need to add a phone jack and a cable jack to exterior walls. I am not familiar with the construction - I dropped a cable through some insulation, but now I drill through the drywall and find silver (styrofoam ) insulation. It was fiberglass in the attic (which is over 120 degrees). So, how do I drop a line behind the wall that I can grab, without cutting out chunks of wall? I am willing to cut out a patch near the ceiling, but don't want to have to make major repairs to the wall.
I need to clarify that I want to add the jacks to the interior side of these walls, but they are exterior house walls. Sorry for any confusion.
