If that is electrical wiring hanging there, it none too good either.

Yeah that's another project... jacking up the house. He told me to level out the ground jack it up, pull out the block then lay 2 - 2' square patio slabs stacked then put a post in then sandwich the whole works with 2x10. I need to tunnel under the rest of the house and continue putting posts in.

As for the wiring... I think I did test it and it wasn't live, ha I don't remember. Oh and redo all that plumbing properly.

Looks like my basement in Potlach, Idaho.

There are, across North America, any number of homes built in mill town near the 1900 mark that have no basements, no foundations, and god knows what construction methods.

Nice to see the pan handle is not alone.

lol, yeah he did actually. Should of seen him try to crawl in there though... I thought he was going to have a heart attack!

wow... amazing what one block can do... next thing you know, you'll be using a stack of newspapers as carpeting for your car.. LOL
