Where I work we hired a couple "pro's" to install a partition wall in our office. The wall went up OK, until they had to figure out what to do with the existing electrical outlet and photocopier power cord.

Where oh where is the electrical inspector when you really need one ?

That is a good one. Shame, Shame, Shame, Of also a good place for a fire by the way.

Head hung low for the industry

It's going to be hard to convince the fire inspector that extension cord is not permanent. And what sucks is we can't move the photocopier to a different location.

The guys who did this job said they've been in this field for 35 years, and they've build such and such buildings, etc. When they hung the door in the partition they had to cut 1/4" off the top of the door to get it to close properly. The partition meets the ceiling in such a way that it looks impossible to replace the light bulbs. The list goes on...

The said thing is is that work like this is so common today. No one takes pride in their workmanship anymore.

The sadest part would be if you "actually" paid the contractors !!!!!!!!!!

Looks like caveman mentality.

It's obvious they were avoiding the expenditure of the electrician.....by far. They need to be :shot: on site.

I know that this is a bit late, but I would like to know if these contractors would be available for another job? I would like to have a tent replaced with a new bath house for my pool. I would like a Men's, Women's, and One for the "I'm Not Sure Yet" change rooms with a common shower.

But the most important thing is I would like to have the underwater pool light wired permanantly, so I can get rid of the extension cord we are now using. It keeps getting caught in the automatic pool skimmer.

These sound like just what I need. Thanks

I noticed they also keep a very clean work site, so you don't have to clean up after them!:bath:
