Upflush Toilets

Any experience with these? I am investigating putting one in the basement. Manufacturers to look at/avoid? I know there are two types - grinder and incinerator. Is either one preferred? I need an 8' lift - will the pumps in these handle that lift?

I prefer using Zoeller setups in regards to your application. The best system ever is gravity....so if you are trying to use one of these instead of busting up the floor,


you'll thank yourself for taking the extra time and installing it like the rest of the system was done.

If you are in a high-wall situation, then I would say that the lift-station type would better serve your needs, short of a sewage ejector pit installed in the floor.
