Bury Hydrant Drain

I am going to be installing a yard hydrant and have a question about the 1/8 inch threaded hole in the bottom. I realize this is for drainage, but is there a special fitting installed here or do I just bury the hydrant in crushed stone for drainage?

This is a drain back only needing a place for water inside the hydrant to drain out to prevent freezing. Stone bed is a very good design
