I have a new paslode finishing nailer that is currently not working. The fan kicks in and it appears to be activating the fuel, but no firing. I've followed the instructions and did a thorough cleaning of everything, but that didn't affect the 'no firing' problem. I removed the fuel cell and attempted to fire it to see if i was getting spark and i could hear a "phh", which i assume is the spark. Any experiences or thoughts??
thanks.

Recharge the battery and try again. You may have enough power to run the fan, but not enough to get a spark.

The battery has been fully charged. I should clarify that I've been using it for a short time (less than a box of nails). I've been informed that expired fuel cells can play a part, so I'm going to pick up a new one tonight and try that.

It was the fuel cell. I could get the old cell to squirt some fuel, but either it gets down to a certain level and doesn't produce enough fuel, or the expiry date (3yrs old) had something to do with it.
