I have a Craftsman 10" table saw model 113.29943 I acquired from a family member. It is missing the, as described in the manual, the loose collar & nut that holds the blade in place. I have contacted Sears, although against my better judgment, and, although they cannot tell me the size of the nut, they are asking $6.99 for the one they sell for this saw, and, another $6.49 for the collar. I have had issues with Sears.com before, and prefer not to have to deal with them again. I am wondering if anyone knows where else I could purchase the loose collar and nut for this saw? I actually tried a couple sized nuts already, sizes 5/8x11 & M16x2, and neither would go on more than a third of a turn. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

If you don't want to deal online with them, try going to the store and ordering it.

It looks like that saw is made by http://www.emersontoolcompany.com/
All the links on that website for craftsman goes back to Sears.com, however.

Have you tried looking for an assembly diagram for the saw at the Sear web site? I've seen them list nut and screw sizes before. Just a thought.

Are there any fix-it places near you that may have the part? Or a "pre home depot" style hardware store? They may have the right part under a different name or meant for a different use.
